Rest on Big Mike. Hold down the bid whist table

I was in great sadness when I heard the news about Mr. Sears! He was my supervisor at the New Orleans Job Corps Center (EA dept.). Mr. Sears and I would love to share jokes and make each other laugh! He had a sweet spirit and that's what I know will be missed mostly! Who is the only comforter WE know? JESUS. Be Blessed.

Mike Sears was a great guy. I enjoyed working for him and with him at the New Orleans Job Corps Center. He was one of the most compassionate and caring people that I know. We spoke once after Katrina and we both wished the best for each other. I will truely miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I too lost my brother in October 2008 so I know what you are feeling.
May the Lord Bless You and remember the fond memories.

May the peace of God be with the Sears family and friends. Big Mike touched a lot of individuals and will be greatly missed. The spirit of Big Mike will live on as he now rest in heaven. Be certain he's holding down a seat at the the dirty hearts table in heaven. Peace be with Big Mike and his family and friends.

I worked with Mike Sears for many years at the New Orleans Job Corps Recruiting Office. He was my direct supervisor. I found Mr. Sears to be a kind person, passionate for what he believes in, dedicated to his work/family and a very peaceful soul. The world has lost a good person who really cares, really cares. I send my condolences to the family. You are in my prayers. Be strong and be blessed.

I was in utter shock when I learned of Mike's passing. I worked with Mike for many years at the New Orleans Job Corps Center. It was his calm, cool, and always level-headed demeanor and personality that allowed most of us to work as well as we did. Mike brought the best out of you. I thank God for allowing my path in life to have been enriched by knowing and working with Michael R. Sears (I still remember that beautiful handwriting and his distinct signature).
