My wife and family and I moved to Sonoma County in 1984, at which time I had been a practicing lawyer for over 12 years. I met Mike later that year when we were representing different defendants in a Title VII case in SF Federal District Court. After that case concluded Mike "took me under his wing" and introduced me to the Sonoma County legal commmunity. He was my mentor and my friend and I always looked forward to working with him. I remember Mike from his early days as a lawyer in Santa Rosa. Especially when Roberta was his secretary and he took on a prevailed against Bank of America. He was quite a man and will be missed.
