Not sure what to say?

I remember when I first saw Mikey his freshman year with wavy long blonde hair and a mouth full of braces my junior year and we've been friends ever since. I've been there to see him slowly transition into a man with his beard stubble on his face that seemed it came over night and can't believe he's gone. I'm really gonna miss him and all the good times we had like tye dying shirts in his backyard, there was never a dull moment with Mike.

My heart broke into pieces when my son Kyle told me of the tragic news. My son is deeply saddened by the loss of a great friend. They played Water Polo together at Edison, and hung out together as friends. I had the privilege of meeting Mike, such a fine young man, as a guest at our home and at WP games.

The service for Mike was beautiful, there was not a dry eye in the church .Mike was very well loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him- God will keep him close.

Praying that the Dayan/Serna family can take comfort in the fact that they raised a wonderful young man and that their Michael touched a great many lives while he was here. The memorial service was one of the most touching I have ever seen. A wonderful outpouring of love for a wonderful young man.

Mike, God has taking you early. Maybe earlier than expected. However, put your hands down on your Parents, Family and Friends, and tell them, I am ok, and God has given me the
watch-over to set my Family and friends to the greatest place I Celebrate in.
God Bless Mikey and thanks for a wonderful life. As we never met, soon one day, when God makes that choice for you, Family ,Friends and unknown strangers as myself meet together. Look Down, and keep us Safe.

Michael, words cannot describe how sad Becky and I were to hear the news. I find comfort in knowing that this is not a "good-bye" but more of an "I will see you later". I am so blessed that I was able to get to know you during your time down here. Your kidness, heart and smile are truly inspirational. It's pretty amazing to think about how many lives and hearts you have touched in such a short period of time. Hope all is well buddy, "I will see you later". P.S. How's the diving up...

I cried when I heard this on the news and spoke to my young boys of the loss his family and friends must be feeling. God Bless

There are no words to describe the loss of someone so young with their whole life a head of them. I know you will be sorely missed by everyone who knew you. My prayers are with the family.
