Mike was a great influence to a very naïve young man straight out of the Marines trying to get his corporate and IT legs under him. I remember a time that I didn't do so well on an interview at Central National Bank. He went to bat for me and convinced the manager to give me a second interview. I got the job although in retrospect the person I was chosen over was better qualified. He was a great mentor and he will be missed.
