Not sure what to say?

Please accept my deepest and most heartfelt condolences. I learned much from Mike, serving together in USS Wasp. His confident and cheerful demeanor added much to the Chiefs' Mess, and his professionalism served as an example for all those who knew him. God bless Mike, and be with his family and friends.

I was deeply saddend to hear of the loss of Mike Sheeley. He was my first chief I ever had in the Navy. He was one of my best mentors I have had in my career. The sign of a great person is what he left behind, and for me it was alot of my leadership traits I use today for the navy.

ET1 (SW/AW/EXW) Michael R. Smith

Cathy,

I mourn with you and your family at the passing of a wonderful man and Shipmate. Please accept my sincere condolences. Mike was my Command Senior Chief when I was CO of FSSC, and I truly enjoyed working with him and learning from him. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Dear Cathy,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Mike was a sincerely nice man and you always knew that he was there. We know you will miss him much and we are praying for you and your family.

So sorry to hear that Michael has passed. I first met him when the Portsmouth Radio Club was invited to bring the communications trailer to the church for the disaster preparedness presentation. It is always sad to see one of our radio friends have passed and the loss of knowledge from the fraternity. I know he will be missed by everyone.

Cathy,
I already miss Mike every morning, my pop-tart buddy at FSSC. I was very deeply sadden and could not believe when I read my email last Friday morning. You and your family are in our prayers. Mike will be surely missed by everyone he worked with at FSSC and served in the Navy. My sincerest condolences go out to you and the boys, God Bless !!!!
