Not sure what to say?

I am a graduate of Palmyra Area Schools. I knew Mike well throughout my years in Palmyra. I don't think there are many people in the world that you can say had no enemies and befriended all. Mike was that guy and we are all better people to have known him. I'll miss you Mike.

My deepest and most sincere sympathies to you all. This is truly a loss for all who knew Michael - I'm grateful that we shared a few moments along the journey, and pray that he is in a better place.

To the Shelly family;
I am so sorry for your loss especially at this time of year. I hope that Michael has found the peace he was so desperately seeking. God Bless you and keep you always.

Dear Marc- My heart breaks for you, but what wonderful and sustaining remembrances you have in Brulee and Brady-with every ball tossed, every excited run to greet you, and every contented slumber next to you ~ Mike will be there.

To the Shelly Family and Marc Chavez. My heart goes out to you all for your loss. I had the great pleasure of being friends with Michael for the last couple of years and we spent a lot of time talking, most recently over the last 9 months. I know that his light and love will be with me and with everyone who knew him. Michael will be in my prayers and in my heart for always.

To the Shelley Family & Marc,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. My family also knew Mike through our canine companions. We ran into Mike most mornings at the Wilson Ave. Dog Beach. Over the past three years we have know each other, we have shared many conversations. His warm, hospitable, loving personality will be truly missed. I saw Mike last on the morning of December 21st, he was speaking of his trip home for the holidays and it seemed like his...

Dear Shelly Family,
We are another couple of Mike's dog-pals/neighbors from across the alley. EVERYONE here (human and hound alike) looked forward to seeing Mike and his dogs hoofin' it past our yard. He always stopped and we always talked a bit while our little dog flirted with Brady. If we were lucky, we encountered them while on a walk and enjoyed each other's company, talking about the refinishing projects he was particularly interested in and just how life was going for all of us....

I am sending loving support for all those who love Michael Shelly. I worked with Mike at Joe's and knew him as a fun, smart, detail oriented, caring, hardworking, loving man. He lived his life in his way. I hope all who knew and loved him will be proud of him for that, and for anyone who choses to be who they are even if it is not what is expected by society. Michael was a man of God and his dogs could not have had a better father. I know that he is doing even better things in the next...

I would like to send my deepest sympathy and condolences to the Shelly family and Marc. I have known Mike over the last 3+ years. My dog, Dylan, and Brulee are roughly the same age and we first met when they were puppies. Mike and I have had many walks together along the beach on weekend mornings and it has been a pleasure to get to know him, his interests, and hear his dreams about his future. My heart goes out to you as his loved ones and, as it is clear from the many entries in this...
