Read MoreI knew Mike as a kid a long time ago. He was a classmate at Westview elementary and we were friends. His dad took us to see the Spokane Indians baseball around 1970, when the Indians were regional champions. Rest easy, Mike.

I worked with Mike at the Department of Corrections. I just learned today that he passed away. He was always a really nice, friendly and funny guy. RIP

Mike and my brother, Greg helped me buy my first car. We found a Celica with a manual shift. I had never drove one and the guys test drove it and gave me the thumbs up. They got it to my folks house and then I was on my own to drive it up the road behind Rosauers off Francis to my apt. It was an adventure and was the best car! He was always willing to help and anyone that stayed friends with my brother, as long as him, shows a great stamina and humor. He will be greatly missed.

Mike was one of my favorite people. He always had a smile on his face and a greeting for anyone he knew. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to Kristy and the rest of his family.
