Mike (Bubba) was a true friend, kind soul, and genuinely caring person. He was fun loving, honest, and truly a good guy. I´m thankful he was my friend since high school. You will be missed. I have always treasured you!!!8 With much love, Debby Poydock-Whipple

So sorry for your loss what a great guy he always had hug for me

I knew Mike in high school, we went on a field trip once to Buffalo and he was gracious enough to hang with me, eating pizza and pranking around. Played football together, had some classes together, he was always a cool dude I liked a lot. Always sad to hear about so many high school friends passing. God be with him and his family.

Bubba my friend and `brother´, I can´t express in words all you have meant to me and to my whole family over the last 59 years. You will be missed and our memories of you cherished, until we meet again.

I met Bubba in 8th grade and we instantly became great friends. He acquired the nick name Bubba, while playing football at the 9th Street dikes, because he was much bigger than most and he was very hard to tackle. We had a lot of good times together in high school and beyond. I always looked forward to getting together with him, whenever I was back in town and Olean will not be the same without him. He was well known and respected in the community that he loved and will surely be missed by...
