Condolences from the Miller Family on the passing of Akela Sheridan.

My parents, Harold (Baloo) and Elsie (Raksha) Miller, worked with Mike in the 109th Hawthorne Pack, where my brother and I were cubs. I have fond memories of the firm and occasionally LOUD guidance from Akela as he inspired us to Do Our Best.

Decades later, I had my own turn as Akela. Mike Sheridan was one of my role models, and I hope my pack recalls their experiences as positively as I recall...

Joan,So sorry of Mikes' passing My heart goes out to you and his family. He was a remarkable man with a long service to his country that he can be so proud of. Hugs , my friend.

He was a great friend and mentor during and after my Scouting experience. His humour and dry wit will always be remembered.
