Not sure what to say?

I think and talk about Mike from time to time. I do miss talking with Mike. It is hard to believe it has been 9 years. I know he made many wonderful memories with his family. I pray and hope those memories give you peace and allow you to smile when you think of Mike. What a great guy.

Dear Mrs. Shuman, I am deeply sorry for your loss, and would like to extend my deepest and heartiest condolences to you and your entire family. I worked with Mike 12 years ago on a Chrysler project for a brief period, and he left a lasting impression on me. He was very kind and a friendly person. We shared topics on raising kids, photography and sports car. I learned a few good things from him. He will be missed, with kind and warm regards.

Dear Mrs. Shuman, I was extremely sorry to hear of your husband's death. Jim Nycz very kindly passed on the information. He was actually calling for my husband, Matt Rozman, but I had to tell Jim that Matt had passed away in November, 2008. So he really lost two friends that week. I heard so much about Mike Shuman and Jim Nycz over the years from Matt. What a good time they had together. And they all kept in touch after they were no longer working for the same company. It has been two...

Shirley, Ryan, Michelle and Isaac I am sorry. Mike will be missed for many reasons. I personally will miss Mike's way of engaging me in conversation at SSOE that as he talked made me appreciate the blessing of my family. Mike loved his family, lived for his family and was an example to many of us of how to enjoy life with friends and especially his family. Jim

(Because we were out of town for a family wedding I am sorry I could not be at Mike's service.)

I appreciate the condolences and fond memories of my father. I remember myself enjoying a chili mac with Dad. He always wanted onions while I always skipped them. He's missed terribly, but we are so blessed to have had such a joyful, wonderful father.

I am very sad to hear of Mike's passing.

Mike and I grew up together. We both went to Elmhurst, were in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts together. In high school Mike would come to Toledo Rep Theatre to help with set building. After high school I left Toledo and we never connected again. My prayers are with his wife and family.

Dear Shirley and family,

Shirley I am so sorry and saddended to have read about Mike's passing. What fun memories Kelley, Christopher & I have of the times we all shared in Michigan and North Carolina. Please know we have never forgotten you & Mike's kindness. Take care Shirley. Holding you close in our memories and prayers! Cheri Pickett, Kelley and Christopher Lindahl

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing, Mike and I worked together at Gilbert-Commonwealth and had the pleasure to work with him again when our company and SSOE team together on a project.
Marcia and I pray that you and your family for comfort during this difficult time.

Shuman family, My Prayer's are with all of you. I worked with Mike several years at SSOE and He's a Great person. I too was a chili-mac buddy. He will be dearly missed! Molly Swope
