Mike was my aunt's hairdresser, and good friend. Also a friend of our family for years since we have moved from Brooklyn. He would come to my great-grandmother's home to do her hair b/c she couldn't walk. And ever time he came, it was laughs and more laughs. What a personality. What a warm man!

I have known you since I was very young, and every year up until now you have given me money for Christmas. As well as that, you are one of the most kind people I have ever known, and it is hard to see you go. You are with the angels now, where people as kind as you are naturally belong when they pass on. I give the best of wishes to your family and friends, and I hope that they know that you are in a better place now, where God is as kind as to you as you were to me.

I first met Mike six years ago. My hair was just starting to come back after an illness, and he always made it look great. I always looked forward to my appointment. We had so many laughs, and interesting conversations (not to mention Jerry's jokes). Mike was so kind and thoughtful. He always had the magazines I liked the best waiting for me.
