Stone Bluff - Michael William Simmons, 35, of Stone Bluff, passed away unexpectedly in the emergency room of the Ascension St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10:18 a.m.
Michael was born in Phoenix, Arizona on December 20, 1985. He is the son of Gary Lee“ Snake” Simmons of Attica and Kris Lynn Allen of Stone Bluff. Michael was raised and educated in Attica and for the past six years has resided in Stone Bluff.
Michael was presently working with Anywhere Lawn Care in Attica.
Michael enjoyed the outdoors where he liked to fish and hunt. He enjoyed playing football and spending time with his family, especially his two young children. He was an avid I.U. sports fan and Indianapolis Colts fan. He enjoyed off road racing and mudd’n.
Michael leaves behind his two children, Noah Michael Simmons, age 11 and Sherry Lou Simmons, age 7; his parents, Gary L. “Snake” (Mary Cripe) Simmons, Attica and Kris L. Allen, Stone Bluff; two sisters, Nichole (Matt) Lawhorn, Stone Bluff and Kayla (Dayne) Tribby, Cobb, CA; two nephews and five nieces; several aunts and uncles.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Monday, February 8th, from 5:00 p.m. until the memorial service time at 7:00 p.m. All guests are required to wear masks and keep social distancing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Simmons family for expenses.
