Michael E. Singleton, 59, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Monday, July 22, 2019. 


Born in Providence RI on July 26, 1959, he was the son of Joan VanBever of Pawtucket RI and the late Robert B. Singleton Sr. 


Michael was a veteran of The United States Navy. He enjoyed watching he and his mother’s favorite football team, The NY Giants, fishing, and especially spending time with his family. Mike was a happy wanderer and spent time all over the country but HOME/FAMILY is where his heart always was no matter where life took him.


In addition to being survived by his loving mother, he is survived by his companion Donna Serani of Taunton MA and a son, Michael Johnson-Singleton of Carlisle, PA. and two grandchildren Drayson 8 and Vivian 11 months. He was the Brother to Donna M. Reis and her husband Terence of Madison AL, Robert B Singleton Jr. and his wife Alexis of Cumberland RI, Stephen M. Singleton and his wife Selina (Xiuqin Zhu) of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, Charles K Singleton and his wife Deborah of Edgewater, FL, Kelly F. Ethier  and her husband Scott of Pawtucket, RI, Brenda L. Bouchard Oakfield, ME, John Singleton of Mapleville, RI, and Patricia L. Singleton of Cranston, RI.  26 Nieces and Nephews and Several Great Nieces and Nephews all of which he treasured dearly.


Michael will be cremated, and there will be no Services at this time. A Memorial Mass will be held at St Mary’s Church 103 Pine Street Pawtucket RI 02860 at 7:30 am on August 28, 2019 all are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Wounded Veterans PAC, P.O. Box 9, Brooksfield, WI 53008, in honor of Michael, would be greatly appreciated.
