I'll always remember playing guitar with him, and he was so encouraging to a young musician like myself. I treasure and admire how much he shared his love of music with everyone. Michael was one of the best singers I've ever known . I often thought a lot over cover songs he did were better than the originals. We've been good friends for 37 years , gonna miss him a lot . 'Music washes the dust from the soul ! ' Thanks to him mine and many others will be dust free forever .

To all the Skahens,
So sorry for your loss. I know you are grieving for your beloved mother and grandmother Anne who just passed away and now the loss of Michael. He is with his mother in time for Mother's Day. Although his passing is too quick, I hope you are comforted knowing his was welcomed home by his mother and father.
