He is survived by Elliot Ivo Smith (son), Mike (Mignon) Smith (father), Linda (Alan) Strebeck (mother), Jeremy (Tamara) Smith (brother), Melanie (Erik) Parkinson (sister), and 4 step-brothers and 4 step-sisters, and loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Services are Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2300 W. Javelina, Mesa. Viewing at 10am, and Funeral Services at 11am. Mike was a good friend growing up and I'll always have those memories. Even though its been a long time since I saw him last I will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of Micheal's passing. I only remember Michael as a little boy and my favorite memory is having him be part of my family in the Easter Pageant. I met my future husband when we were paired up and put with a couple of small boys to be a family in the crowd scenes.I was also good friends and neighbors with his Aunt Amy and grandparents. I know you will all miss him so much and I hope you find the comfort you are seeking. You will be in our prayers.
