Michael Smith Obituary
MICHAEL SHANE SMITH, 74, of Charleston, WV passed peacefully on September 22, 2025.
Mike worked as a car salesman for several dealerships over 34 years and finished his career retiring from Astorg Auto in 2019. He was a dedicated football fan, enjoyed playing golf, riding his bike along the boulevard in Charleston, and spending time with his son and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Robert and Gladys "Peg" Duff Smith of Charleston.
Mike is survived by his only son Tyler Shane Smith (Sarah) and granddaughter Harper Elizabeth Smith-Campbell.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV, 25313 with Pastor Richard Schultz officiating on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hubbard Hospice House located at 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV, 25311.

Prayers and good vibes to Mike´s son and family and many friends. He was an energetic positive force that sold me a number of cars and became a great friend along the way! I Remeber his extensive work with big brothers big sisters and giving his time and talent to many community endeavors . A great man!
