Not sure what to say?

I really miss Mike. It´s been a while, but sometimes I pick up the phone intent on giving him a call. And then I remember again.:.

Mike was my manager at the radio station in 1995...surprised to see this.

This came as a complete shock to me. I met Mike when we were at CCHS and spent the four years there with the gang, and stuck together afterward. Lost touch though having been in the Army 20 years, and now I wish I had made it back to the area at least a couple of times since the last time I saw him. That was at the Funhouse, June 1994. I found out just today from Dave Parry. Mike used to mail me clippings from the newspaper (this was before the advent of e-mail) of the Creatures and...

I just came across this guest book tonight whilst looking up old friends from Allentown. Although I'd known Mike back in the '80s, we'd lost contact until the fall of '06, when we briefly crossed paths on MySpace before I moved overseas. It was lovely to catch up on great music, mountains, and the stars. I'm so saddened to have heard of his passing. Many great memories.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I was just a young go-go dancer doing my 60's moves for the Creatures when I met Mike. In between sets and dances, he was always willing to show me a chord or two on the guitar. With his help, I now play guitar and have my own band today. Thanks for teaching me the C, D, A and E - the only chords you really need! Mike, you were always such a sweetie, and usually one of the only gentleman in the room. You will be missed. You're gone too soon.

With all my love, Lynette Miller (Byrnes)

I've just learned of Mike's passing via the KTown Univ newsletter. Hard to believe...I haven;t seen Mike in many many years...but i have fond memories of jamming with him in the early 80's (Pre-Creatures)...

God bless..

My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Smitreski family!!

I am so deeply saddened and beyond stunned to have only learned of Mike's passing just yesterday evening when I came home from work and found a note from Mike's Dad informing me that Mike had passed away on November 25th!

Mike and I had been friends for several years now -- though, ironically, we had never actually met yet! I enjoyed our telephone conversations and numerous e-mails -- which Mike often...

the book is about to expire so are the surreal holidays but Mike's memory will live on ....I wish you to know that i would very much like to keep in touch, in his memory and i mean it from the heart. Warmest thoughts to you.....
