I first met Mike when he joined Brookings 20+ years ago. We instantly bonded over our love of jokes, guns and Thai food. We would tell each other jokes that no one else would understand or laugh. We kept in touch after Mike, Sarah, and Katie moved to Ohio. I'm saddened and in shock that he's no longer with us. Anhtuan Phan.
