Michael James Snyder

SNYDER - Michael James "Mike" Snyder, of Albuquerque was taken from us January 11, 2002 and was returned to the family that loved him and never gave up hope February 4, 2010. Mike was born July 15, 1958 in Albuquerque, NM. He graduated from Sandia High School in 1976. He attended and graduated from Denver Automotive and Diesel College. He was a hard worker and had reached the title of master mechanic. Mike is survived by a daughter that he loved and adored; his mother Allene Snyder; his sisters Laura Bowman and husband Mike and Teri Johnson and husband Mike; nephews Byron Kroner, Cody Johnson and Troy Johnson all of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his father Malcolm Snyder and his Grandparents. Mike was a skilled dirt bike and dune buggy racer when he was younger winning many trophies. He was an avid snow skier and water skier and enjoyed many summer weekends at Elephant Butte on his jet boat. He was a good man, kind and generous and will be greatly missed by many. Services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at French's on Lomas at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
