Sadden to hear of your loss. Mike and I went to grade school at St. Hyacinth together, and then to All Saints. Mike was always a joker and fun loving. Our prayers go out to you and your family.

I was deeply saddened to hear that we lost a great man, a great friend, and obviously a great dad and husband. When we were all much younger Subby frequently showed up at the house, as he was close friends with my brother, Mark. Even though I was the typical (irritating) little brother that most of the bigger guys might prefer to pick on relentlessly or just ignore, Subby was always eager to show interest in what I was doing or saying. Zach and Nate-
I am very sorry to hear about your dad. It is very hard to lose someone we love so much, but as I taught the two of you during HFMS religion, if you were listening(!!) God has a plan for all of us. We are on this earth only part-time, now your dad will be at peace in his home with God. What an awesome guardian angel you will have! Take care of your mom! Be there for each other, support each other, and most of all, make your dad proud as I know he was always so proud of both...

Your smile would light up a room..
God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be...

Dear Jeannie and sons,
I appreciated being able to read the obituary. Even though I never met Mike, I feel I know hime from talking with Jeannie, reading the support pages and the obituary.
What a very special man. I know that his spirit will guide you in the future.
I am sorry that I cannot be with you on Tuesday, but my thoughts will be with you and I know we'll meet soon again.
With my very best wishes to you and the whole family.
Love,
Gaby
