Not sure what to say?

Think of you all the time, I miss getting to talk, and you could talk to anyone about anything. You taught us to be listeners, and open our eyes to the past and future. I miss you cousin..

My dear cousin Mike, I can't convey the loss of you being here. The love you showed our family and my Dad, your respect, integrity, honor, a list for life. Ann and I will forever cherish the many memories spent with you, especially you and Charlotte joining us for a wine trip day during our Honeymoon in Tahoe. Know you have touched so many, made an impact that is irreplaceable on earth, and you live on in Casey and Nicole. We are an old world family, with values and loved our heritage. I...

Our relationship a friend in Jesus we got to do the Jesus walk together. Both raised in Catholic faith, both thankful for this beginning of life with God. He was a strong believer, searching for answers only God can provide. And provide God did using people who loved God and loved Michael. His wife Charlotte and her unconditional love for him. Michael got his answers and such a connection with Father, Son Jesus and Holy Spirit. My privilege to be a part of his life and see God work. ...

Past years had brought us together when he came to Arizona "Miami" to attend our Slavic reunion. He loved his family his history and we felt he was so much like his Uncle Roscoe, our father. Peace to all of you at very sad...

Mike was my cousin and even though we lived in different states we were always close. My family always enjoyed our trips to the beach and Mike loved visiting the Globe and Miami area and eating Mexican food. I always told him he had the best of both worlds. He was half Croatian and half Serbian. I will miss him so much and really appreciate how well Charlotte took care of him.

My heart goes out to Charlotte, Mike's family and loved ones. Mike was my friend and classmate for over 62 years. No matter the time between meetings it was as if not a day had gone by. Mike always greeted all of us with such love. What a wonderful man with a huge heart of gold. He will be missed so very much. God bless all of you.

e would like to say thank you for his dedication to restoring Mills Station. My husband, Art McCray, spoke at the dedication...his mothers familythe Studarus familystarted Mills Station in the mid-1800s...my dad, Harold K. Vance, was a firefighter for Sacramento from 1922 to around 1967...May God bless you and your family during the coming days.

Mike was as fine a human being as any I have ever met. He was a stalwart supporter of the Rancho Cordova Fire Department and Mills One Club. We could always count of Mike to say something meaningful at each of the occasions. My love goes out to Charlotte, Nikki and Casey, his grandchildren, family and all of the Rancho Cordova community. Mike will always be missed and appreciated.

We met Mike after the births of our first children, a day apart, when our wives shared a room in the hospital where they were both nurses. We transferred out of Sacramento not long after, so we did not interact a lot. However, over the years our families did enjoy several camping trips and visits when we visited Sacramento. No matter how long the interval between, it was as if we were best of friends whenever we did get together. Mike could make us feel like we had been together all...
