SPARROW
Michael Donald Sparrow was born on March 29,1949 and departed this life on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Age 67. Michael attended Jonas Henderson High School in New Iberia, LA, and Xavier University of Louisiana. He served in the United States Armed Forces for six years and was employed by Exxon Mobil Oil Company and Texaco Chevron Oil Company. Husband of Lenette Jalvia Sparrow of 45 years. Son of the late Roland and Eva Malveaux Sparrow. Father of Joynell Sparrow Bean (Terry) and the late Danielle Patrice Sparrow. Brother of Allen Sparrow, Roland Sparrow, Jr., Maedell S. Robinson, Verna S. Jones (Henry), Rita S. Landry (Richard) and the late Dorothy and Jerome Ronald Sparrow. Mother-in-law, Frances Craft. Brother-in-law, Thaddeus Jalvia (Monique). Also survived by two granddaughters, Sanna Danielle and Tiri Abril Bean and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also Priest, Parishioners, Members and Staff of St. Katherine Drexel Church, Ladies Auxiliary and Council of Knights of St. Peter Claver Court 52, Exxon Mobil, Texaco, Orleans Parish School Board, and Rite Aid are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, August 5, 2016 at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 2015 Louisiana Avenue from 9:00 am until 10:00 am.
