I taught Mr. Spizzirri's son, Tim, at Alliance back in the late 1970's. I remember Mr. Spizzirri's sprightly walk and cheerful demeanor whenever we met.

He did God's work here on Earth, and God has said, "Come to me all who are heavy laden / And I will give you rest."

Mr. Spizzirri was a warrior for Christ and, now, we can only hope that we will meet again in Heaven.

We at Navy Hospital Portsmouth Wound Center came to know Mr Spizzirri and his wife very well in the last few months. We helped him heal a wound. It was always a joy to see them both and hear all his stories. He and his wife were very happy to be going on their trip to Texas and we wished them well. We are so glad they were with family to the end what a wonderful thing. We all send our thoughts and prayers. We hope Ms Spizzirri will stop by for a visit. We will truely miss Mr S.

I remember years ago, Mike and my dad tending the garden...and also when I brought Jason over for trick or treating, Mike would make a big deal over Jason and make him feel very special. He will always be a special man in my heart.
