Family and Friends,
I am so saddened by Mike's death. It has been a lot of years since I have seen him, but I kept apprised of him through my mother, Carolyn Ward. She always talked of his love for Aunt Irene and the wonderful things he did for her. I knew that anyone who took such extraordinary care of his mother, like he did, was a very special person indeed. I do remember how his eyes would always light up when he smiled; and his laughter, he definitely had the Springer laugh and...

Michael was so charged with energy and enthusiasm to make things better. He had empathy and depth of knowledge and he constantly questioned and challenged. His legacy is that he wouldn't let us forget what had not yet been done. That will be very hard to replace. Rest in peace, Michael.

Michael was tireless and dedicated. He loss will be felt by many.

Mike was a great Christian cousin and he will truly be missed by all. I have a lot of wonderful, loving memories of growing up with Mike and his loving family as a child in west Texas. May the Lord continue to bless his family and bring the peace and comfort that only He can provide~
