It was a difficult situation and yet he brought peace and kindness in his words to all. I will never forget him for that. May he rest in peace!

I am so sorry for the loss of Mike Stanley. I fondly recall his laughter and quiet inner strength, and greatly valued our friendship during our time together in the seminary at Villanova and at the Novitiate in NY. I so enjoyed playing basketball with him and attending Villanova's basketball games with him and his parents. He was generous with his time, always dependable, and so demonstrably cared for others.
