Our deepest sympathy to you and your family, Micheal was so much fun to be around always had a story to tell and a cigar to smoke. No longer will he suffer here on this earth he is in the arms of the lord. God Bless, The DeFreitas Family

Jess...so sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a loved one but try to find comfort in knowing that he is always in your heart and you will see him again someday.

Mike was my friend, and as a Citadel graduate , he is a member of The Long Gray Line. This prose is dedicated to a great guy.....one that I will meet once again.

One day God looked around his garden, and he found an empty place
He then looked down upon this earth, and saw Mike's troubled face

He put his arms around him, and lifted him to rest
God’s garden must be very beautiful------he only takes the best.

He could see Mike was suffering

Jess, Bailey and Mikey,
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Cherish all the memories and know that your dad is always with you. He gave a courageous fight but it is now his time for peace and no more pain. Please let us know if you need anything.
