Michael J. Stevenson

 

STEVENSON, Michael J. – Of Burton, age 66, died Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center.

 

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.

 

Cremation will take place following the service.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.

 

Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

 

Michael was born in Bay City, Michigan on February 8, 1951, the son of John and Norma (Griffiths) Stevenson.

 

Mr. Stevenson retired from GM Metal Fab.

 

Surviving are son, Jeff and wife Aleshia of Burton;

 

grandchildren, Erica, Gabriel, Dakota, Cameron, Desiree Burt and JayLynn;

 

great-granddaughter, Ava;

daughter-in-law, Shelly Stevenson;

sister-in-law, Sylvia Stevenson;

two brothers, Richard and wife MariLynn and Robert;

 

many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by son, Jason; parents; brothers, Gary and John Jr.
