Read MoreSorry to learn of Mike's passing. I knew him when he was a kid in the 1940s---knew his parents, and his grandmother Bottorff was my babysitter. Later, I was a drummer and always wished I was as good at it as Mike was. His dad, Cloyd, was a great drummer, too.

Sad to hear about Mike. We grew up togeth er in Attica. I remember when he first started playing the drums in high school. On Sunday nights we would listen to DixieLand Jazz from New Orleans on the radio.
