1 yr. ago yesterday my life was forever changed. The memories of that day are a constant stuggle in my life of a Great Husband/Father/Papa that was taken for us. Life slowly moves on but the hurt & missing you consumes me everyday. The kids & I went to church together and later to the cemetary. I prayed that God would give me some peace as I placed some pretty purple flowers on your grave. I know I must try to make a new life with the kids/grandkids without you no matter how hard it may be....

I still find myself hoping to wake up from this nightmare and you to walk thru the door like you did for so many years...How I wish I could just get One More glimpse of you and Hear you tell me everything is ok so I can let go and find a little peace to begin living again!

The 4th of July was yesterday and all day my mind was consumed by the memories of a great time we had celebrating in LA at the Family Reunion. As I spent the holiday alone up here in TN, I looked at pictures from that day and remembered how excited we were to finally have our Family together celebrating. It breaks my heart knowing that those were the last Special Memories that I will ever have with YOU...Oh' What I would give to hold you in my arms again...

Where has the time gone...it's been 11 mos. today but it seems like an eternity since you left....Each day is a constant reminder of how much I miss your presence being here with me...

Back at work in DeRidder, LA and how strange it all has been without you by my side but I am so Thankful for your buddies at work who are watching over me in your presence.
