Not sure what to say?

I have thought if Ben and mentioned his name very often. He was so kind and mild mannered. I think of his children and I believe he is watching over them. I hope the family has peace knowing that as much as we all miss him we are happy he us with his Heavenly Father. I miss him!

Here is a photo I took of Ben at his apt on Oak Grove, in Mpls. Betsy, if you read this, please get in touch - [email protected] - Miss Ben every day, much love to his people

I had the privilege of enjoying a book donated in memory of Ben to Hennepin County Library. A fantastic illustrated guide on Common Spiders of North America. Thank you. My belated condolences. I am sorry for our world's loss of this young man. My nephew similarly went through the experiences as you've described a year ago. It is incredibly sad. It is so important, creating these remembrances - great or small. May his legacy live on. Penny Fuller RN

You are still missed and still loved. I’m grateful that I got to know you in this life. You are legitimately one of a kind.❤

I learned about Bens passing roughly ten months after, and just found this page now. Ben was a very dear friend of mine, giving me a place to stay when I was homeless at age 17, telling me stories about his youth, going on adventures with me, looking for furniture... we did so much together. We met at the Guthrie/Walker, where we worked together for a time. I miss him terribly, he was a brilliant light in my life. If there is ever another memorial service or event to commemorate his life,...

I just found this obituary while searching for Ben. He and I were good friends back in Minneapolis, and I was also friends with Ray Ray when he was still alive. Ben, Ray, and I drove up to Fargo, ND where I dropped the two of them off at a truck stop to begin their journey (documentary) to the West coast. Such great memories! I just came across that documentary and a few of Ray's paintings which are now hanging on my living room wall here in Hong Kong. Such a world away, in time and...

I just found out about this. I am so sorry Erin family and friends. May he find eternal happiness.

Very sorry Erin and family.

Ben you will be missed. I remember you in a karate uniform back in early grade school and our moms helping in the class together... So sorry for your loved ones.
