I am so profoundly sorry. I have such fond memories of gatherings and parties, filled with his laughter and unique, bold and free spirit. I loved my Colorforms as a child and thought it was so exciting to know someone who made them and where - I can still visualize his work space, as to me it was simply magical. He will be long remembered by all who knew him. My sincere and heartfelt sympathy.

Although I am very saddened by this news, I and grateful for the memories I have of working with Mike during the years I was a creative director for Sesame Street. Once in a while I even got to laugh with Mike in person instead of communicating just by phone and email. That was always a special treat.
