Not sure what to say?

To the Struck Family:
Mike and I were childhood friends in Des Plaines, Illinois.
My memories of Mike were when we started out in the Stars Of Tommorrow baseball, to Little League, and to Pony League baseball.
Summers would be at South Park playing fast pitch against the wall for hours and hours with a rubber ball when we were not having team practice.
After high school graduation we all went our seperate ways, but this has always stuck in my memory and always will...

Dear Trish and family,
We wish to extend our sincere sympathy to you and your family. We know you will greatly miss your husband and father. Our prayers are with you in the days. weeks, and months ahead. Mike certainly enjoyed playing music at Arlington Countryside Church where we attend. He will be missed. Keep your eyes upon the Lord. He will give you comfort.

I'll miss you Mike. What a powerful celebration of your life today!

Trish, Sarah and Paul...all of us at Faith Church love you.

With much love,
Bruce Cole

To the Struck Family,

Please accept my sincere condolences. I am a member of Arlington Countryside Church. I will truly miss Mike. His ministry had an impact in my life. Throughout each week I would carry one song in my mind from our Sunday's worship. Mike's joy and faith was an inspiration to me. I know that this week Mike has heard His Master say to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; ... enter into the joy of your master.'

The Struck Family,

My heartfelt sympathies go out to you. As a member of Arlington Countryside Church, Mike will be sorely missed. He really had a gift of music and a love for the Lord and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss.

Jim and family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of loss.We did not know Michael, but knowing his father, we know he was loved.

struck--- you lucky dog....you beat me home. I know all is well where you are at and I hope you get your wish to be in the great "jam pit" in heaven with the Father and Son for an audience. Our office at the church sure is lonely since you went home---two desks and one person just doesnt seem right! I keep expecting to come in and find you journaling and drinking your "non-chain" coffee--saying "Good Morning Mr. Spencer ...and How are you on this fine day?" and I would grumble some...

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Struck family, especially Jim Sr. who I had the good fortune to work with at Illinois Bell Telephone Company for many years. It's always hard to lose a loved one, especially a child. You're in our prayers in this time of grief.

Mike once told me, and always showed me, that he couldn't play music without smile on his face. I loved listening and watching Mike play either guitar or bass. He made it look so effortless.

Shhhh...if you listen closely...you can hear it...heaven's got a new band member and man are they jammin now.
