Not sure what to say?

I worked with Michael at Armstrong in the 90s and enjoyed talking and working with him! My condolences on his passing.

My husband, Pat, and I met Michael at a dance, of course. When Michael and I discovered we both had roots in the Yakima Valley, a friendship ensued. Pat and I came to the realization that if we went dancing and Michael and Karen were there that the conversation would be brighter, there would be plenty of stories and laughter and the dancing seemed much more enjoyable. Michael seemed to know everyone and everyone
knew him. He was just one of those people you wanted to know and be...

I knew Michael through the zydeco dance community. He would come to our dances occasionally and house parties with his companion Karen. I always enjoyed chatting with Michael, especially his stories about traveling in Europe and rock hunting. He was a good dancer and always a gracious dance partner. My condolences to the family and to Karen LaMorticello.

Remembrance with love.

I went to high school with Michael and we stayed in touch via correspondence, e-mail, etc., and even an occasional phone call until the past couple years. When I would speak of my travels to Missoula, Montana to visit my brother, he would share about a dig he'd been on in the Montana archaeological site. He was fascinated with paleontology. I'm stunned to hear of his passing, but ever so thankful for the memories. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you, his family!
