Michael W. Swierzy

Mr. Swierzy, after being laicized by the Catholic church and convicted by the court, only death could end your love of children. Rest knowing I´ll never let your memory be forgotten.

May you continue to rest in peace, Fr. Mike. We continue to pray for you and your family on the one-year anniversary of your death.

It is hard to believe that a year went by since Fr. Michael's death. We have been praying for him daily and will continue to do so. Again, our sincere condolences to the Swierzy Family,

It is with great sadness that I learned yesterday of the untimely passing of Father Mike at such a young age. I first met Father Mike on a trip to Medjugorje in 1996. I found his Masses and homilies to be both inspiring and uplifting. I will always remember his keen sense of humor and the "stray dog" that attached itself to Father in Medjugorje. We were not aware of Micheal's death until last week. Had we known, we would have surely been at his funeral mass. Please know that you will be remembered in a special way.

To Fr. Mike's family and close friends I am truly sorry for your loss. I can't begin to tell you what a kind and compassionate person he was. When we needed a priest from our church to give last rites to my mother, there was no one available. So, we all felt we should call St. William's rectory to reach Fr. Mike.
