It is with great sadness that I learned yesterday of the untimely passing of Father Mike at such a young age. I first met Father Mike on a trip to Medjugorje in 1996. I found his Masses and homilies to be both inspiring and uplifting. I will always remember his keen sense of humor and the "stray dog" that attached itself to Father in Medjugorje. To Fr. Mike's family and close friends I am truly sorry for your loss. I can't begin to tell you what a kind and compassionate person he was. When we needed a priest from our church to give last rites to my mother, there was no one available. So, we all felt we should call St. William's rectory to reach Fr. Mike.
