Michael Francis Szurpicki

Mike was my brother on the road. I am deeply saddened at his loss, and my heart is heavy for his wife and family. Mirjana and their dogs were everything to him. Despite the pain in his last days, they gave him purpose to live every day as if he was going to be around for many more years. I last spoke to Mike 10 days before his passing.

I wish I could trade places with you. We were as close as brothers could be, and I would've given anything to give you the time I have left because...

I was a coworker with Mike when he was only 15 years old. We both worked at Royal Crest Woven Woods in Oak Park. Everyone loved him there and he was such a dedicated employee and so much fun to work with. I will always remember his smile. I have no words that can convey my sorrow for his loss. I will not forget you Mike. Rest in peace my friend.
