July 6, 2004, suddenly at age 33; beloved son of Betty (nee Smith) Tata and Michael N. (Jennifer) Tata; dear brother of Neil (Lisa) Tata; loving grandson of Salvatore J. and the late Theresa Tata and the late Ty and Mary Smith; also survived by several aunts, uncles, a niece, a nephews, cousins and many friends. The family will be present on Sunday from 2 PM-9 PM at, (Amherst Chapel), AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr., (corner of Hopkins Rd.), where funeral service will be held on Monday at 8:45 AM and from St. Benedict's Church at 9:30 AM. i met mike in las vegas while traveling with john swing... mike got us all free tickets to some great stand-up comedy at MGM where he was working while finishing up at UNLV... we all went in with beers in our pockets... even mike did and he had his MGM uniform on... it was his dinner or lunch break i guess... he got us into a UNLV basketball game as well... only knew the guy for the 2 months i crashed on the floor / couch in he an coley's apartment... while i worked at a video store switching...

Mike...I miss you. I miss your laugh. I miss your smile. I miss your sense of humor. I take great comfort in looking at pictures of us and all the good times we had. You were one in a million my friend. I will never forget you and will continue to remember you all the days of my life. xo

Where to begin? What words can capture the being of Michael Tata?? To me Michael was: My Boss, My Mentor most important "My Friend!"
I can't believe that he is gone! Maybe absent in the physical sense but I will always have the memories. I have so many great memories, we had so much fun all the name calling, the horse play, the many, many endless laughs usually until we cried, the constant nagging yet the undoubted loyalty between collegues and good friends!

Dear Family of Michael, It is 4/9/05
and we're still missing Michael, the
hurt won't go away. He was so special and had a precious personality. He was absolutely fasinating.
We know if we miss him this much,
just how much you are going through.
Please find some comfort in knowing he is in such a better place than all of us are and you know you will
see him again. We no longer watch the show, don't even know if it is
still on because the times...

Mrs. Tata, I met you in Las Vegas at Michaels service. My heart still aches for you and Michaels brother. We all miss him dearly.

We want to express our deepest sympathy over Michael's death, it was so terribly tragic and sad. Our tears are falling too and the hurt will never end. We feel as if we have lost a close friend from watching the series on American Casinos. He was a very special and precious man who gave his all. We know how proud you must have been of his high accomplishments. He certainly was loved by so very many.His Memorial Service which we were able to see, was beautiful as we know his funeral and church...
