Michael N. Thome

I first got to know Michael when I briefly worked for him when he headed up the California State Teachers Retirement System. Later I got to know him on a more social basis through my brother John. My wife, Gale, and I enjoyed his company and antiquing together. We found Michael friendly, caring, and deeply committed to his Catholic faith. He lived a long and eventful life. My sympathy to his close friends Gerald and Ben. May he rest in peace.
