Mr. Thompson will forever be the most influential teacher I have ever had. He has such a kind heart, which stayed true despite what stress that I´m sure came with teaching 5th graders. He assigned me a variety of nicknames; "trouble", "sparkle", and so many more that stuck with me long after I left his class. I will never forget his compassion and understanding, and how he always stood in my corner even when I was feeling hopeless. When I was having a hard time with things at home, he made...

Mr Thompson was my fifth grader teacher in 2021-2022 he was the best teacher I could ever ask for I would do anything to spend 5 more minuets just to hear his jokes and see his beautiful smile and hear him make fun of me as a joke I miss and love him so so so much rest easy Mr Thompson .

Marcia and family, I am so very sorry for this terrible loss. My heart goes out to you all.

Mr. Thompson was my 5th grade teacher in 2000. He was my favorite teacher and always went out of his way to make me feel like I mattered. I had an IEP and school was never my strong point but he never gave up on me and took the time to make sure I understood the lessons. I had the pleasure of meeting his children and wife as Mr. Thompson always showed up to support me in my dream of being a singer. He truly touched the lives of everyone he met. You will be deeply missed Mr. Thompson. Thank...

I had the pleasure of having Mr. Thompson as my 5th grade teacher back in 200. He quickly became one of my favorite teachers during my schooling. His caring nature, his classroom humor, his ability to make learning fun, and his inclusiveness is what I remember most. He truly cared for all of his students and wanted to see us succeed not only in the classroom, but in life. Over the years I would see Mr.Thompson in the community. He would tell me how proud he was to see how far I had come and...
