We have been friends with Mick and Barbara and their family for over fifty years and have so many happy memories especially of holidays spent together. We are heart broken to have lost such a dear friend and send all our love to Barbara and her family xxx

We all spent our early childhood together as our parents were friends. There were the How's, The Vaughns, The McTaggarts, us The Flynns and of course The Tilletts. We've all grown up and gone our separate ways but I remember Mick aa this larger than life character from my childhood. Core memories in fact, he had that impact. I remember Mick coming into St Nic´s to talk to the children about his own experiences as a child, living history. He used to go to St Nic´s as a child himself when it was located at Newbury Hall. He brought a little bag of Dolly Mixtures, to show them his weekly ration of sweets and there was just enough for one each.. He was so lovely with the children. Fond memories of the times we had whether it be a garden party or a guest at our wedding! My sincere condolences to Barbara and family.
