Not sure what to say?

Voltaire said “He was a great patriot, a humanitarian, a loyal friend - provided, of course, that he really is dead.”
I remember this quote often and think of you. You were such an amazing friend and even more of an amazing person. You will never be replaced, I thank God everyday for the days I got to know you. Like the quote that I hold close to my heart, you aren't really dead, you live in me. We miss you.

Timmy and Cheryl:
I did not know of Mickey's death until today (April 13). I was in Winking Lizard in Lakewood tonight and there was a picture of Mickey on the wall. It did not say he had died but I got the feeling the news was not good. I asked a waiter and he said he had Mickey had rebounded but died a few months back.
I am flushed with memories. It's been since 4th of July 2008 when LaVerne DeAnna set up a reunion of Breakfast in the Park that I had seen him.....Still have the...

Dear Cheryl and Tim, I am very sorry to hear of Mike's death. He was a great friend and I have regreted that we lost touch with one another in recent years. He was a good guy and I'll miss him. -- Lloyd

Mickey exemplified the Tober legacy as a smiling, warm-hearted, easy laughing, gentle person.
He will surely be missed.

I was so saddened to hear about Mike. I will never forget him and his laugh. I worked with Mike at Meadowbrook Tops. He always gave my son a banana everytime we shopped in the store. He was a special guy.He will be missed.

Mickey was the brother I never had. He met me only days after I was born and we were close friends ever since - He always watched out for me and took care of me. Always a loyal, understanding, and loving friend, he was always there for me, my mom, and my wife whenever we needed a helping hand, or just an opinion or some objective advice. As a child we walked together to school at St. Charles, and when I left Ohio to pursue a career, he looked after my mom as his own for me. When I was young,...

I'm so sorry for our loss. Mike's nature was one of kindness and generosity of spirit. My family and I enjoyed having him at the house, and I have fond memories when he came for Christmas (dressed as Santa) visits. I'm glad I was able to see him at the library program in November. I know my nephew was happy to see him, too.
