Michael R. Tolerico SOUTHAMPTON - Michael R. Tolerico, 78, of Southampton, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013, in the Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly, with his family by his side. Born in Tresckow, PA, Michael lived in several areas of Pennsylvania and New Jersey over the years. A U.S. Army National Guard veteran, Michael worked as a mechanic at many different shops, eventually opening up his own. He was very handy and was able to fix anything. He loved nature and the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a member of the Rack Pack Hunting Club. Michael worked as a security guard for Bamberger's, which later became Macy's, and after his retirement, he opened a mobile home parts and supply store. He was a member of the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church. Son of the later Rocco and Mary Tolerico, and brother of the late Rocco Tolerico Jr, Michael was predeceased by his wife, Arlene. He is survived by four children and their spouses, Lea Ann and Joseph Borromeo, Michael and Susan Tolerico, Theresa "Tee" and Vincent Feminella, and Peggy and John "J.C." Stover; four step-daughters and their spouses, Victoria and Joseph Mezynski, Valerie and Peter Hnasko, Vanessa Melanson, and Veronna and Glenn Karnish; his first wife and her husband, Sylvia and Richard Goodrich, and a sister, Mary Brewer; Also surviving are his grandchildren, Laurie Kiernan and her husband Michael, Joseph Borromeo, Joseph and Melissa Yaros, Alison Tolerico, Jeffery and Brianna Jarzyk, Alexa Feminella, John, Brandon, Coty, Courtney, Rebecca and Noah Stover; great grandchildren, Emalea, Mikey, Kayleigh, Madison, Jillian and Mavis; many nieces, nephews, step- grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, at the Allentown Presbyterian Church, High Street, Allentown. Inurnment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may call from 12 noon until the time of service. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to the Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Marlton, NJ 08053 or DaVita Dialysis, 668 Main St Lumberton, NJ 08048.

Sorry to hear about Uncle Mike, you are all in my thoughts and prayers, losing my Dad was hard as well but thinking of all the great memories we had together helps you get through it and I know your family will have many memories to share and remember and comfort you inthis time of sorrow. Tee - Haven't seen you since high school, but reading about you losing your dad a few years after your mom brought tears to my eyes. I've been in your shoes. I am praying for you to find the wonderful memories you have of your parents to get you through this.
