I appreciated the hard work and care he gave to keep McLean Cemetery beautiful and the strong interest he had in local history. I enjoyed his leadership in the McLean Mystery nights during the past several years. He gave a thoroughly educational and entertaining presentation on the history of the telephone coming to McLean. He will be sorely missed.

I remember when Mike as the "right hand" to Jack Miller. As the years passed not only did he work on the Sheriff's Department patrol (lights, sirens and especially radio and computers). When I move to Groton, although I knew plenty of people out here, Mike was a "go to person" in the community.My condolences go out to Kitty and the kids, etc. He was a good man, sometimes hard to find in these current times.

I knew Mike when he was dispatcher at Ithaca Central Fire Station and I worked at Cornell as a Life Safety Officer. Always an upstanding person who told it like it was and a good friend during the years I worked with him. May God Bless him and his family, and may he rest in peace.
