Mike, Pat Colwell and others were friends and all cruized Colby together. Mikes older brother Jim and my brother Bob were also friends. Many good times. I will miss him greatly.

Michael George Towne was born in Everett, WA September 11, 1945. He passed away after a long battle with cancer on May 3, 2025.
Born to Jesse and Mildred Towne, he was the youngest of two children. He graduated from Everett High School in 1963.
After raising his family in Everett, WA, Michael and his wife retired to their home on Camano Island, WA in 2006. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with family and friends. He could also fix or build almost anything and could often be found in his shop working on something.
Michael was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Lynda, and both his parents.
Michael is survived by sons; Gordon(Susan) and Chad(Rhonda), daughters; Billie, Jessie, Leslie(Lance), 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, his brother James(Sheila), and many extended family members.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Camano Animal Shelter Association (CASA) PO Box 1726, Stanwood, WA 98292. Per Michaels request there will be no service.
