Not sure what to say?

I met Mike when he was president of the Young Democrats at ODU. He and I went on many trips across the state in my convertible enjoying the breezes. The crushing blow for us was the McGovern and Spong defeat. During all of this turmoil, Mike never spoke in angry or ill well. Jo Anna, his new bride, will remember me as the third wheel. I will miss him.

I went to school with Mike from first grade through 10th. He always had a ready smile for everyone and a kind heart. May his family cherish and be comforted by the many wonderful memories they share.

Mr. Tremper was my insurance agent for many years and most recently in June helped me with my mother's passing. He was more than an advisor, he became a friend and a welcomed voice in person or over the phone. He will be deeply missed. My condolences to his family and friends. Ethel L. Bullock ( Suffolk, VA)

Mike has been our Insurance agent for many years. I always looked forward to him coming by the office, he was just delightful. What a wonderful man . He will be missed.

I worked with Mike at MetLife, and he was always so fun to be around. He could light up any room with his wonderful personality. He was always so thoughful of other's feelings as well. He is truely a blessing in our lives and will be missed always. God bless his family at this time. Kim Parris

The years I worked at MetLife were better years after Mike joined us. You only meet a man like Mike a few times in your life. I will treasure his friendship for years to come. I called him a few weeks ago to talk about the Optimist Club. He loved that organization like he loved everything in life. Heaven is going to be a better place now. My heart goes out to JoAnn and the children.

I was so saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Mike Tremper. It was an honor to work with such a gentleman and a scholar. He was one of the greatest gentlemen you could ever have worked with. His presence will truly be missed. God Bless Joanne and the family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

What a shock to hear that Mike Tremper has passed from this world! My heart goes out to his family.
I was a classmate of his brother Chris; even though we were younger, Mike always had a kind word and a quick smile for us. What wonderful memories we have of all the Trempers. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers....
