Michael G. Trosper

Mike "cut his teeth" as a teacher with our class at UHS some 30+ years ago, fresh out of college. We didn't call him "Mr. Trosper" - he was "Boss". I think he was Umatilla High's first ever golf coach, but met with only limited success trying to teach his future brother-in-law Jim and me the finer points of the game. Please accept my condolences for your loss. I thoroughly enjoyed serving with Mike on the Umatilla City Council because his comments reflected thoughtful consideration. He was a good friend to the youth of our city and he will be sorely missed.
