TROTTER, Michael L. – Of Swartz Creek, age 66, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at McLaren-Flint, surrounded by his loving family.



 



Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at Riverside Tabernacle, 429 NB Chavez Drive, Flint, Pastor Tom Mattiuzzo officiating.



 



Private burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.



 



Those desiring may make contributions to Riverside Tabernacle.



 



Visitation 12 p.m. Monday until the time of the service at church.



 



Mike was born in Flint, Michigan on November 25, 1951, the son of the late Morris and Katherine (Baugh) Trotter. He married Judy Tanner on December 22, 1970 at Riverside Tabernacle and was a member also.



Mike served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1970-1974 on board the USS Santa Barbara. He retired from GM as a millwright.



He was an avid Detroit Tigers and Michigan Wolverine fan. He served faithfully as a board member, choir member, and Royal Ranger leader at Riverside Tabernacle.



 



Surviving are wife, Judy;



 



children, Katie (Mike) Doyle, Jeremy (Kim) Trotter and



Jana (Jason) Beam;



 



grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Luke, Abigail, Alaina and Lauren;



 



sister, Barbara Spooner and brother, Bobby Moore.



 



He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, William.

So very sorry for the loss of your loved one. Prayers for you during this difficult time.

We are so sorry to learn of Mike's passing. He was a good man and will be sadly missed. We are out of the state right now and cannot attend the service. Please know your family is in our prayers at this time. May your many memories comfort you til you meet again.

Dear Judy and family my heart thoughts and prayers go out to you for your loss as I am in Florida finishing my dads trust sadly I will not be there at the funeral but I will always be there to pray for you support you in anything you need.
