Michael Tuckett

My heart is breaking today. Mr. Tuckett was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I went to Renaissance Academy for 8 years, since 4th grade, and although I didn't have Mr. Tuckett personally as my teacher, it always brightened my day to talk to him or see his kind smile. My heart is breaking at the news... I want to offer my deepest condolences to his family and friends. I went to Renaissance Academy for 9 years, since 4th grade, and Mr. Tuckett was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I don't believe I had the pleasure of having him as a teacher personally, but it was always a highlight of my day to talk to him and see his warm smile. I'll always remember it.

Mr. Tuckett was one of the kindest people I knew during my years in high school. My most memorable moments with him were during my senior year of high school (2006-2007) when I took college-level courses in Marine Science and Meteorology. During the classes on meteorology, we used to predict school closings by tracking the weather displayed on The Weather Channel.
