Joie, since I saw you at COS last week, I have been thinking about all the ways your Michael blessed COS. His generosity and creativity provided so much to this congregation, especially as COS moved into a building. One thing I continue to enjoy is his big woodcarving! It is still striking. I worked with Michael and we also played some tennis from time to time. He was a fine artist and an even better man.

Mike hired me as an illustrator for Dickinson Bros. Printing Company's creative department...MANY years ago. I remember him being a happy kind of guy and always optimistic. A pleasure to work with. When he leaned over the light table he'd throw his neck tie over his shoulder. I thought ...why wear the tie? But he was a professional and looked the part. Judy
