Not sure what to say?

There aren’t words or phrases or whole books adequate in describing what Mike meant to me. The words seem to trivialize and as he is gone (still not quite believing or accepting) it seems more important to get it right. As I knew, and have subsequently read, Mike’s impact was that profound with many, many people and the struggle to encapsulate his Mikeness must have been their struggle as well. But, their words of praise and love and struggle was, and still is, a touchstone for me. So thanks...

I just learned about Mike's death today ( May 31). I am completely shocked and saddened. Mike and I were close friends throughout law school. I am sorry to have missed the services for him. My condolences to Jenny and the rest of the Vint family for the loss of a wonderfully bright and talented man.

My wife and I met Mike on an airplane ride to Burlington Vernon back in September 2002. We sat next to each other and we started a conversation which made the plant ride insteresting. Since then we have been exchanging E-mails and catch up on our lives. We were surprised and saddened by the news. Mike upbeat and humorous personality will always remain in our minds.
May God gives you strength during this time.

My prayers and thoughts go to Michael and his family. Although I did not know him for long, he was a great person to talk to, very easy going, an all around kind soul. I will miss him very much. God Bless!

My deepest sympathy goes out to Jennifer, Sandra, Kathleen and Patrick. I never had the pleasure of meeting you but I did have the pleasure of working with Mike at KB&V. He lent so much support within the walls of the office as well as in the theatre seats of productions Gianine another co-worker and good friend of Mike's and myself were a part of. His artistic appreciation complimented his great sense of humor and his talent as a lawyer. He could talk on any subject and leave you pondering a...

I have had the privilege of knowing Mike for 20 years, first as my Social Studies teacher, then as a bandmate, and most of all, as one of my best friends.

Mike was The Friend You Can Always Count On. After my husband's serious accident last year, he was the first to step up and take care of everything, from collecting evidence at the scene, to making sure that I ate something. I was so grateful to him for dealing with all of the things that needed to be taken care of when I...

I met Mike only recently, when I began working with him in the summer of 2002. He and I became quick friends and went out together on several occasions. I am truly saddened by his passing.

Jenny, we have only met once, but I live one floor above you in your building in Chicago. If there is anything, anything, you need, or if you just want to talk, please do not hesitate to call on me. Your father was truly into zen and the art of parenting, and it was obvious he cared very...

It is interesting to see how one person can be different things to different people. Much depends on how you know him. I was nowhere near as close to him as any of you, but he was an important person in my life.
To me, back in the mid '80s, he was Mr. Vint. It's been many years, but he was always my favorite coach and teacher. I am quite out of touch with Morris, IL., but I happened to check the newspaper website yesterday. I was shocked to see the obituary.
After I graduated...

My Mike: I am still in shock. I still cannot believe that God has called you to Glory at such a young age, but God knows best. I worked with Mike at KB&V. He was a great boss and friend. Jenny, my heart and prayers go out to you. Your dad loved you dearly and always talked highly of you. Be proud of your dad. My heart and prayers also go out to Mike's mother. Mrs. Vint, Mike knows he loved his mom. You raised a wonderful, kind, friendly, loveable son. I keep talking to Mike asking him what...
