I remember him best from our fraternity days at KU: his great sense of humor, and general friendliness to all. On campus, he seemed to know everyone.
He could always cheer you up, just by being him. We miss you already, Mikey!

Sally, Randy and family, I am so sorry to learn of Mike's death. He was a lifelong friend, and I am grateful I got to see him when I was in Kansas City for my mom's memorial service two years ago. He was such a kind person, and I know he cared for his parents lovingly right up until the end of their lives. I will be praying for comfort for all of you. Love, Sharon Worthington Johnson
